Two teams - 'Short, Back and Dive' and 'Straight to the Point' - from Hair Management salons in Brook Street and the Club have raised over £1800 by taking part in a Swimathon organised by Soroptimist International.

14 colleagues from Hair Management took part in the challenge at Warwick School late last year, swimming an accumulative total of 110  lengths which equates to 5,500 metres.

The money raised is being divided equally between the Aylesford Unit at Warwick Hospital and the Parkinson Disease Society.

Brook Street Manager Pauline Salter explains "We had a fantastic time and really enjoyed raising money for these two very worthy charities.  We were delighted to learn that the Hair Management teams raised the highest amount and we recently received a trophy from Soroptimist International marking our achievement.

The support from the salon and our clients who sponsored and encouraged us throughout has been just marvellous.  We are thrilled to have raised over £1800 and wish Soroptimist International all the very best as they continue to raise money for these charities".
